...like it is on watmm.com.
they're probably the idm artists people talk the most
about.

but do you agree with this?

i don't know a lot of idm artists, but i think plaid would
deserve a place here (instead of boc maybe). and maybe
vsnares, too.

i don't think plaid deserves it more than boc, but if you
read.. umm... there's something there explaining it. it's
going to start involving more and more artists, untill it
gets to be basically a reference for all electronic music. i
might be wrong, you could ask joyrex though.

I might put Mu-Ziq somewhere in there. I think they're the
five foremost IDMers.

Venetian Snares DEFINITELY doesn't belong there. He's good,
but the rest are just on another level.

plus snares is to new really. I'd agree about the µ though.

µ-ziq and plaid are IDM SUPERSTARS!!!! They should
definately be in the watmm.com top five!

*throws up*

Titsworth is one of those guys who think I am some puppet
for WARP or they fund the site; I assure you that is not the
case. I wish it were true, would make getting info/funding a
lot easier!

That was the very reason I chose the initial four artists
for watmm, was because of their popularity - no reason to
cover artists the majority of people don't care about, and
soon Luke Vibert will be added to watmm, as his output is
phenominal (IMO), and more will follow. Some other
considerations are:

Richard Devine
Jega
Mike Paradinas (and all his aliases)

watmm has covered non WARP (and will continue to) artists
before in the news, and we will devote space to artists who
may not need an entire subsite, but deserve mentioning
anyway, as the goal of watmm is to expose you to good
electronic music you might otherwise not have heard.

Phresch: Man, change those glasses - it's not the 1980s
anymore ;)

joyrex: ??????????????????????
i was referring to people's "top 4" opinion, this has
nothing to do with you or your site. i read your messages,
you've said countless times that more artists will be
covered on WATMM eventually. there are lots of people who
think the best idm is on warp and that's what i'm talking
about. you should follow mary j. blige's advice: "no more
drama!"

i'd go for

ovuca
cylob
pp. roy
d'arcangelo

(no warp there)

Sorry Tits, the gang over at the Planet-µ board think watmm
is some subsite run by WARP or something...kinda pisses me
off, and your coincidental comment caught me off gaurd (this
was prior to us resolving the 'other' thread about me being
back.

LOL...Indeed, no more drama! :)
