i'm tired of living in poverty, making music with no
commercial outlet for it, feeling like I deserve a record
deal, stressing about getting evicted which I am, eyeing my
last two packages of ramen realizing they are all I have to
eat, being lonely without a girlfriend, being mildly
overweight, having no formal education and not being able to
get a job, shitting pudding because my digestive system is
worn out by lots of ramen, not being able to get anything
done because of chronic slacker tendencies, and finally,
people who whine about things that annoy them.

see the scary thing is that with all of those things, I'm
not depressed. I've just developed serious escapist
tendencies. I pretend none of those problems exist, and
can't really deal with them.

It doesn't help with getting anything done.

I don't like music that reminds me of lousy real life shit.
Boards of canada remind me of what the womb probably felt
like, and I like that. afx is a fascinating escape into
some fruity british guy's head, and my own music is a pipe
dream.

BOC reminds me of the Mr. Wizard show from the 80s, with Don
Herbert. It just has that '80s film' to it.

geogaddi is less womblike-- it's more like getting birthed,
i think.

music has the right makes me want to curl up into a fetal
position inside my mother.

i think I've got mommy issues. actually i know i do, but
that's another story completely.

pomme de terre: here (too many drugs..)

illfates:

definitely impressive.

chalk mouth is the shit.

you need to put the bong down and research some labels and
start mailing cds dude. thats the only way anything is going
to happen.

i am assuming that things tend to 'happen' for you, that you
have the abbility to take a thought and manifest it, no?

well, while this gift may have pushed you along to the point
you are at now, with not a whole lot of effort on your part,
the time has come to take control of your destiny...

- mail out cds
- post to MBs
- promote yourself
- bribe the bugs in your room to spread the word

good things will happen, the talent is there. and don't get
discouraged if nothing happens right away... stick with
it.

im sorry if i'm way off base here with my comments, just
acting off intuition.

btw. what pgms/gear are you using?

playerpro. it was originally developed for amiga, and I
used it for years before finally figuring out how to work
cubase effectively. it does some very neat sample looping
and is very raw, good for making strange sequences out of
other noises.
