well I'd like it, it's nice to make people feel special. You can show someone you love them in so many ways, I just see engagment as a big gesture and reassurement of love. It shouldent be needed but sometimes it is =oD B3n ............. will you marry me ? lol |

awwwww thats a lovely thing to say =0) and it's totally normal to be scared, it is a big step. but you're doing a smart thing by getting engaged and then waiting a bit to get married. so when it finally happens you'll be READY and not so scared, and when you do get scared just look into his EYES and you won't be scared anymore =0) |

I don't understand why you need to say this though...if you love this person that much why not just say you are getting married and stick to it...to me engagement doesn't signifiy anything, apart from in some cases people wanting to be the centre of attention (though i'm not suggesting thats why you do it, I know people that have) |
