Mmmm, very nice... just bought it an hour or so ago, and
have listened to it through once, and have started it
again... very nice, sounds like after listening to it for a
while I'll like it more than Parachutes (which I love)...
interesting thing to, when I was at the counter paying for
it, the guy put an extra booklet in the bag with the cd, he
said the cd came with the wrong booklet... but yet they're
both cool booklets, one has a picture of the band playing,
and the other has the lyrics... interesting...

by the way, this is Coldplays new cd... :)

Well, i've said it before, but Coldplay are watered down
Bends era radiohead.
Strangely enough, i like them a lot. The Blue Room EP is
quite good, and i'm thinking about buying this new one.

The new album is stellar. A mate of mine bought it
yesterday, day of release. I've download 5 songs and I
definitely think this is better than Parachutes, even though
that's an amazing album.

Of the 5 I've downloaded, Clock is my favourite. I've GOT to
buy this CD.

I like Daylight and the title track. I haven't heard the
last two tracks.
I've slowly gotten in to Coldplay, despite the fact that i
think they're pretty derivative.

I've taken a liking to Coldplay too. Last summer I was
obsessed w/ "Trouble".

I must say that there are some nice tracks on it, (the
drumming is rather straight forward so it's nice to play
along to it as well)

Its a great album, i really like it. Is there any difference
between the advance and the retail?

it is great..but parachutes is a masterpiece and i dont
think the new one will be such a classic as that one.

the album is great, I think this is one of thos albums that
steadily grows on you. I had the same with parachutes, where
I loved 3 songs instantly and then came to appreciate the
others to the same level as the first 3 later on. I don't
think this album will reach the heights of the parachutes
album though. I think that one had just a bit more emotion
in it than this one.

I can already say (after listening to Parachutes at least 50
times since it came out) that A Rush Of Blood To The Head is
better.

I'm going to buy tickets to see them in Munich with a couple
of mates in November. Should be ace.

I wanted to see them live in Munich in December 2000 but
they cancelled on the day and Starsailor played their first
German gig (2 months before their first single). I was
really impressed and bought their debut album but I find
them rather dull now.

zaphod: The first time I heard Coldplay was in February 1999
when there was a free CD with Melody Maker which had "Such a
Rush" on it. I thought it was the worst rip-off of Radiohead
EVER, like a total copy of Exit Music. I still think it's a
pretty weak song but I detested them when I heard that.

Shows how bands can grow on you.

Clocks is the best track ive heard all year......

another british band about to overtake the world......

i think these guys are gonna be bigger than oasis, travis
etc,

about the same level as radiohead i think

i don't really get the appeal of cold play. maybe i'd like
them if they hadn't played that god awful boring song yellow
on the radio and tv
