Are there many more really chilled 'n laid back Squarepusher songs like "Iambic 5 Poetry"?
Lately I can't get enough of this song, but forgot to mention it in my "Music & Emotions" post.
Anyways, can anyone recommend me more stuff by him that is similar? And maybe not even just []<, are there many more artists mroe devoted to jsut this type of sound?

Weeeeeeelll, my sound is great. Most of budakhan mindphone is that sort of thing but a lot more free jazz, along with music is rotted one note.

Try "Atjazz", I believe that's the artists name... they(?) tend to do downtempo jazzy music.

I think the only part of that song that sounds even remotely like jazz is the intro, the rest sounds like music to swim to with dolphins

Ahh, there we go. I'm really not looking so much for the downtempo jazzy stuff. I can look up "acid jazz" for that. I'm thinkin more "swim-with-the-dolphins" type songs, ya know?

check out most things on hard normal daddy. they tend to be a bit more intense though. otherwise, go the miles davis route and get Music is Rotted One Note if you haven't already. Its got My Sound on it, one of his best i think.

Well I just mean they do that kind of "laid-back" style as the song Iambic 5 Poetry sounds.

I dig "My Red Hot Car" by Squarepusher, great track. Just random comment there.

I always though Iambic 5 Poetry is what a fusion of hip hop and jazz in the year 2030 would sound like. I think qualifying it as acid jazz is a bit of a cheat.

You're Going Down [Maximum Priest EP] is exactly what you are looking for. It's quite similar to Iambic 5 Poetry actually.
