Hi all,

I've got 5 new ones up over at www.electronicscene.com.ochre, and would be
very pleased if you could have a quick listen and let me
know what you think.

Cheers,

Chris.

downloaded most of them allready.. . effing brilliant stuff,
I love some of the timing shifts and things, quite recent AE
type structure but with more instantly appealing melodic
elements.. . production sort of reminds me of Lp5.. .
definately leans towards more BoCish and at times even
playful melodies.. . "REM Sleep Research" is godly.. . my
Favourite so far :)

I use the same tools as before - Pro-52, FM7, Attack.

Grinningcat - I haven't spammed the SOS boards for these
tunes yet! Will do though, hee.

Cheques? I'm purely CC now. ;)

Hey Glitch, sure I remember you. Glad you like the tracks,
thanks muchly. I'll check out Tevosav soon actually -

Thanks conformist! ;)

Vit C - yeah, I tried and make the page look a little more
colorful. I'm not much of a graphic designer, so I kept
things simple.

Seeing Everything From the Wrong Angle..comes true to the
title, in whats a very straight forward melody..there's an
odd unnerving note..the rythms are very efficient and clean,
the changes are very subtle and evolutionary rather than
jerky..the second melody that kicks in around 2.30 is
prettier..I like the bass line that comes in out almost as
an afterthought...
7/10

Advanced Tree Surgery..once again a very standard melody but
it has that one mysterious chord change towards the end that
just hangs and demands further investigation....the beats
are once again very competent...but the basic structure even
similar bpm is basically the same as previous..right down to
the late breaking bassline..so 6/10

REM Sleep Research
Similar introduction..very pretty melodic extrapolation but
it is accompanied by a similar beat and bass line.....it's
getting a bit repetitive....5/10

so in all the stuff is beautifuly crafted the melodies are
as good as any on a major release..but personally it needs
variety..changing around of instruments, structures etc to
keep me going..
