... for those who don't like winamp 3. Which seems to be a lot of people. Winamp 3 uses too much system resources for it's own good I reckon. |

I got my hands on windows media player 9. Which is better than winamp I reckon. Well it will be when the final is released. I'm using a beta but it hasn't crashed once it's just some of the features don't work yet. When you minimise WMP9 it changes to a taskbar player with the controls on the taskbar and when the song changes a little window slides up and tells you the song name like msn messenger. It also uses half as much cpu when it's minised as a taskbar player. It also includes stuff like crossfading, play speed controls, quite mode all kinds of other stuff. |
