I know techno originated in Detroit and house music in
Chicago. What other states hold their kind of music? is it
true that san fransisco was key in the trance movement? and
i hear lots on miami...what's their place in dance music?

I think Miami had a big bass/electro scene. Not entirely
sure.

I got into electronic music mostly from the Mortal Kombat
soundtracks, and from there I started listening to a lot of
KMFDM, then Front Line Assembly, then Skinny Puppy, and now
I listen to everything. So I guess I started out with
Industrial music which came into America through the Chicago
scene although I think it really originated in UK with the
likes of Kraftwerk, Throbbing Gristle, and the New Wave/Punk
scene.

OK try:

"It Is What It Is" and "Strings of Life"
- Rhythim is Rhythim
"Acid Trax" - Future
"Can You Feel It" - Mr. Fingers
