yeah that is pretty cool, but I gaurantee that old dvds wont
be compatible with those new blu-ray ones, even if it is
technically possible, the companies would never allow it in
the interest of making even more money. Plus I'm really not
all that excited about it, because that means having to buy
all the movies I wont AGAIN. But so goes the story of
technological advancements. *sigh*

It's not that much bigger, the transition from floppy to
CDROM had much more impact, we now need something that
advances the same way from CDROM. I think that DVD is only
something to fill up the time before the real breakthroughs
come. I think we'll be talking about terabytes then...

Do we really need 13 hours of film? no one in thier right
minds will make a 13 hour film or put loads of films onto
one disc. Seems a little pointless to me, plus for big
storage, there is that C3D or something that could hold 1
terabyte.

i wouldn't be too surprised if there will be digital DVD
camcorders that fit in the palm of your hand and use discs
the diameter approximate to the length of a cockroach's
body

excuse the fancy words but i'm big into techy stuff
