here's part of my latest email from john hughes, who
records under the name slicker and heads hefty records (home
of telefon tel aviv, slicker, savath+savalas, and many other
great artists and classic 70s reissues)

Yeah, they can. Just let folks know that they should go
online and add all
the items to the cart they'd like to get and they can see
what the total is
including shipping without actually placing the order... it
gives you your
total on the same page it asks for your credit card. They
can then send a
check/money order for that amount and be good to go.

full length albums on cd cost a mere ten dollars, ep's are a

i was actually going to try using my atm/check
card..supposedly they work too..

because ive been really getting into stuff from hefty the
past two months or so...i figure by the end of the
month..their whole catalogue will be on my to-buy list...and
of course.. i can only find some stuff in stores...either on
vinyl (turntable's broken)..or already owned by me

nice isn't it? btw if you have the same sort of thing, but
my credit card is actually a visa debit card which deducts
directly from my checking account. works for me everywhere
they accept visa.

yeah...i have a visa check card..i guess its pretty much the
same thing
..it seemed to work fine..
so im thinking i may just cancel my credit card once i pay
it all off...since i just used it to buy stuff online
anyways...
being in college...i really dont need to be going into debt
with a credit card...
