I like Jackpapercut, (Well worth checking out) I could
imagine a real crazy Detroit techno remix of this type of
thing. The way the mild distortion builds up over that weird
baseline then the main track kicks back in... This is real
good. I like this a lot and I'm normally quite picky.

If you get a CD out filled with this kinda music be sure to
drop me a line. i'll pick a copy up. Love that drum loop...

It's about creating a repeating pattern and additively
changing it, which is "tracker" like. Maybe dancing music
more than intellectual music. The organic parts like the
beginning were great but limited in entertainment value by a
more repetitious construction on the larger scale.

I like repetitive in moderation. (See; My Tracks) I have
heard a lot worse than this. It sounds so much more
professional then a lot of other independent music around.

I really want to hear a fast Detroit deep techno remix of
this, Maybe like Knased C64 on www.mp3.com/FMS.

admitedly the track is more than a little repetitve.
I'd intended to take this mix and do something a little more
complicated with it - like taking some ideas from this
track:
http://www.samwillard.com/furrq/acridad!.mp3
(hosted on my friends site cos a)Zebox won't let me upload
and b) it's a 'remix' i did as a bit of fun a while
back...the title kinda gives away what it's a mix of- i'm
thinking it kinda violates a few copyright laws)....it's
very, very rough, but there's some things in there that do
"it" for me.
When I came to listening to Jackpapercut as it was though, I
found I really like the way the track feels kinda tame, in a
way, and repetitve- simply cos it seems to give the end
slower dum loop bit quite a kick somehow (if u catch my
drift!)

I find it hard to explain why I do certain things in tracks
sometimes - I generally just play with them until I can sit
back and listen to them while having a ciggie, without
shaking my head and reaching for the mixer to change
something!

Still tempted (at the risk of over-crowding it) to put more
of a melody on there and maybe re-structure the main track a
little

anyway - enough of my ramblings! Thanks for your comments!!
