I just dislike when any music becomes a parody of itself ... does that make sense ? I think Bon Jovi went through that point in around '93 , for example.... Most Boy bands are parodies of the genre and therefore are ALL awful, but then again they aint even about music, they're about selling capitalist- sex fantasies to little children. So yeah, basically any type of music that tries to sell U a lifestyle; instead of providing release from cliched stereotypes , (which is what the BEST music does.) does that make sense ? well, it does to me. |

I dont know there's more and more music I cant seem to handle..though I grew up on rock..I cant handle most of it anymore..the twang of a guitar makes me go limp with disinterest..I have been listening to harsh and extreme music all of my lie and I have been told constantly..just you wait..you will mellow out when you grow older..well I have grown older..and most of the harsh metal and stuff..I find snooze inducing and pathetically laughable..anyone who things they are hardcore because they listenin to nu-metal/death metal dujour..try some SWANS..early SWANS... but my tastes for harshness have switched more to the digital crunch... so right now...any music with guitars blaring annoys me..but it might be temporary.. I have a vast guitar based music collection and I might fall back into it's lap.. |

I dislike most artists in the following genres: modern R&B (stuff like Babyface, Usher) money (bling bling) rap (Ludacris IS pretty good though) pop punk (Blink 182 and the like) KoRnish bands (Adema, and the countless other ones whose names I can't remember, nor do I want to) MODERN COUNTRY! Horrible, horrible, horrible. Christian music is just as bad as modern country. I'm sure there's other genres that I just can't think of. |

Sorry, someone mentioned The Offspring, quite possibly the worst band to ever get studio time to make records. their songs suck, their sound sucks. Do their songs have any point? (much like my posts) When i hear kids say their hardcore i double down into a laughing fit until i puke or pass out, then get back up and start the process again until the kids have left. i have an interview stating how they're all about their band and the music...when really its all bout the doh. The lead singer guy is/was a biochemist...don't quit your day job. Thats enough from me about one of the worst bands to get air time and studio time...ever. |
