doses anybody know the reason for twin in aphex twin. i think it has to do with the death of his younger brother also named richard????? |

yep it is beacause of his brother- they werent twins really- dead rich was older i think. thare was somethin about it in one of the intervievs.... :) but i think i read about it in german interv. |

There's an electronic circuit called an "Aphex Twin"....knowing AFXs love of electronics (he did it at Kingston Poly), it's more likely he picked it up outta some electronic mag or book... Not a lotta people know that..:).. |

The FAQ is just stuff culled from interviews so isn't very reliable really... I've seen printed evidence of this Aphex Twin circuit years ago...so I'm kinda inclinded to believe that (even tho no-one has mentioned it for ages & ages...think it was discussed on the old aphextwin mailing list..) |

aphex systems makes studio monitors or "speakers" that richard uses the twin is like a double reference to yes his older brother (rip) and the speakers like ya know twins means stereo sound.... |
