yeah, ill be sure to check the whole label out. i also
heard a little of el-p's latest album. good stuff.
different and more original than all that mainstream hip hop
bullshit.

steamtanks favourite hiphop producers are:
-eblaize
-el-p
el-ps solo album "fantastic damage" is amazing but the work
he did for cannibal ox on "cold vein" beats everything
else.

i dont really like rap all that much, i like instrumental
hiphop more. i hate the word hiphop they need a better
word. but aesoprock, canox and elp are a lot better than
most other stuff out there. i have quasiomoto and unsung
heroes, only rap cds i own. all rap sounds the same to me
even independent rap(for most part) isnt that different.
quasimoto isnt even all that original. i guess I just dont
like this kinda stuff that much to notice.

A friend of mine's boyfriend knows him. He's mcing at a
party he's throwing (along with El-P and DJ Premier and some
people I've never heard of) I haven't listened to aesop
that much myself so can't comment.

aesop's pretty good, i love the song he did with mf doom on
prefuse73's latest full length. def jux (excuse me -
"DEFINITIVE" jux) is a great label too.

bought 'fantastic damage' today.. can't really say I enjoy
it much. the cannibal ox and aesop rock albums are much
better
