They're very, very good. Incredible detail in their
soundscapes. Very beautiful.

Papa New Guinea has gotta be one of the best tracks ever and
unlike a lot of stuff from the early 90s its dated well.
They recently released some remixes by Hybrid. Anyone hear
them? Any good?

Papua New Guinea is the only hybrid mix I've heard. And it
kicks major ass.

Also check out amorphous androgynous for more "dancy-trippy"
stuff by the duo.
I only know of "tales of ephidrenae" (or something...I'd go
downstairs to check spelling, but why bother). Great but not
remotely prolific...rats, eh?

FSOL (actually, their alias AA)
if you want to hear the new album, just get it off soulseek
or buy it in a week if you live in the UK - or in a month if
you live in the US. the version on soulseek's not the same
as the retail version, like 6 of the songs are earlier
versions (the mp3's are from an early advance, woops).

btw TSOL = True Sounds Of Liberty. i love them, i have their
album 'dance with me' which is some of my favorite punk
ever.

well if you have a 14 minute track then you in fact have the
correct version.. the misprint has a shorter song as the
final one. you're all set.

offline Zeus from San Francisco (United States) on 2002-08-24 08:13 [#00362867]

apparently there were some misprinted cds of The Isness
released in the US

im not sure about the details, but one cd has the word
"loke" instead of "like" in one of the titles.

And i think the one with loke has 2 songs that werent
supposed to be on the cd, repleacing 2 that should have
been

this is what im trying to figure out... which songs do i
really have/

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2002-08-24 09:38 [#00362985]

no we don't cos i know the song "galaxial ph.~" and it's the
same on this album.

we have the correct album. apparently all the U.S. pressings
have "like" misspelled. however, SOME have two different
songs as well. our does not.
