these have to be the best lyrics to a song ever

I prefer the lyrics of early Leonard Cohen songs

actually i hate the lyrics to this song. i hate the rhythm
its said in and the sound of the vocals. the track would be
better off with no lyrics. the other 3 songs on the ep are
very good though.

I like the first track a lot. I do like this one though.

Yeah kid for today is better than this track, but the only
real problem with this track is the presence of lyrics. They
mess up the mood.

I love the lyrics in question, and I love Lenny Choen's
lyrics as well! He the MAN!

amo bishop roden is my fave on here, but i like the lyrics,
they add to it to be honest, give it more impact

it does sound like propaganda, these words were said by
someone in the davidian cult that killed itself (david
koresh ----> Waco thing)....

I view it an another synth basically... I don't really pay
attention to the words, even though I do know them...

yeah,

but i really doubt they are trying to convert us

i think its more just to add a sense of mystique to them

but i just love, aestetically how it sounds... it just is
said free form and keeps goin

come and live in a religious community
in a beautiful place
out in the country

hehe, that's not what i meant. what i meant to say is that,
the words were probably spoken for propaganda purposes
(convert people). however, like you said, boc use it to add
a sense of mystique or something. i doubt they'd acually
try to convert people to join some inexistant cult!

the lyrics are supposedly a quote from amo bishop rodin... a
former member of the cult..who left prior to the standoff

well not an exact quote... i guess in an interview.. she
described the compound as being 'in a beautiful place out in
the country' ..i think boc must have added on the 'come out
and live in a religious community..' bit
