I'm sure lots of people have noticed this, but it counts
like this...

1 2 3 4 - 1 2 3 4 - 1 2 - 1 2 3 4 - 1 2 3 4 - 1 2... and so
on... I've always noticed the little weird break from the
straight beat, but I never counted it out before... well,
that's how it goes... :)

Thanks Funk. Im going to go listen to the song later.

I have troubles counting in songs. I don't know where to
start and stop...like I can hear a loop...thats easy..but
how many times do you count within that loop? 4/4 is
easy..1..2..3..4..but when it gets awkward what do you do?

it's just a feel thing with me... I can feel the beat sort
of... but really, the beats in BoC songs aren't that hard to
feel... I find it fun trying to keep track with the beat
listening to Go Plastic... some of the songs are totally
crazy... :)

Autechre can be damn hard sometimes to figure out... but
sometimes the beat is relatively simple, but just sounds
complex you know... Cichli took me ages to figure out, I had
read that it was in 5/4, but could not count it out for the
life of me... until recently... I can now, and I feel so
proud of myself... :)

oh, it's there... Greenways Trajectory is a fun one... the
beginning is hard to keep track of ya know? My Fucking Sound
is pretty retarded as well... :)

I know what you mean by time sig/ beat Funk. I wish I could
count :( I would need more music lessons though.

Greenways would be so hard i'd think...especially the end
(which is the highlight on the whole cd). WAKA-KWAZY

yeah squarepusher is impossible to find the time sig(for
most songs, especially go plastic). some autechre is very
strange but some is quite easy to figure out. now the
autechre ones that confuse me arent as crazy as go plastic
but it keeps repeating (many of the times) a rhythm which is
very confusing to understand unlike go plastic where a lot
of it seems very random.

it's basically 4/4 most of the time, tho if u consider the
swing rhythms, then u have 6/8

actually, a lot of Go Plastic is straight 4/4... but it's so
quick and crazy that it sounds more complicated... but I'm
sure some of the more crazy parts are weird time signatures
for sure...

if you could play a metronome to the tempo of the songs in
go plastic, I'm pretty sure that the tempo is consistent in
the songs. even when it all goes to hell it comes back in
right on 1!

and Morning Bell by Radiohead is in 5/4
