I think it's impossible to tell someone the symptoms of love at first sight. It's just one of those things you feel on an organic level. You can admire that person and think about that person a lot but also have respectful thoughts as in daydreaming romantic situations. It's always best to know the person very well first. I've ruined friendships and gone in 'nuts first' one to many times. |

well, shes a friend of a friend, we met a while ago at her birthday party, i was already pretty hammered, and stole some of her decrative soap, in the shape of a rose. that really didn't mean anything, but it was funny at the time. anyway, we would hang out in the same places and chat here and there, this weekend we finally came to the same conclusion, that we should be together, and we really haven't been apart since. theres a real connection going on here... |

Loving someone can be like loving someTHING. You get a buzz out of something you love doing. I also get a buzz from being around my girlfriend let alone talking to her. I'm not sure if you can fall out of love, It might be that there was never love in the first place and it was just a delusion. All in all though, Love is a beautiful thing and I believe it can happen to anyone, anywhere, after any length of time knowing someone and at any age. Must be difficult for very young people coz others will not believe them and say that it's just a crush and wont last. This is just my oppinion. |

Love at first site can be hard, just because you love them from the start, doesn't mean that they feel the same. This can get in the way in realtionships, cause even though YOU want to spend every seccond of the day with them, they may need space and time and you can sometimes puch people away. Take it easy and try and controll your feelings as much as you can. |

dude, if you like being around her and stuff, then go for it. don't like put her off, cause then she will be like what the hell was that for? and then you will be like, yea im stupid! and then you will try and get back together, but she will be totally pissed at you, and you will try everything. and even though you both still really love each other, it will never be like it was. then she will go on a cruise and make out with some boy she met. and you will find out from her best friend, and shit, thats when shit gets FUCKED up. you think, "shit, all that shit we ever did, it has no meaning now, cause she went and did it with someone that she doesn't even know and blah blah blah will never see again" so you talk to her about it and are nice about it. but she is really defensive, and her friends are making fun of you too. so one day you realize that for the past 6 months you have been having these problems with this girl (whom is leaving for college in a month), and you call her and tell her you love her, and she tells you she needs to stay away from you.FUCK! |

I'm not sure I believe in love at first sight... I mean, I believe love is based on more then what you can see "at first sight" so to speak... but a friend of mine used to say she believed that there were like 4 different levels of love... I forget what she said they were, but the point is that maybe you CAN fall in love at first sight and that it's a different type of love then love based on years and years of knowing someone, and maybe it's just true love that is based on more then that you know? Hmmm, not sure if I'm making sense... I've thought I've been in love a few times, and maybe it was, but I suppose if I'm not sure then it wasn't love... but maybe love is just what YOU think it is, and there isn't any rules as to what that is... I dunno, love is a hard thing to be concrete about... man, if you're feeling like this then definitely go for it, and all the best... I hope it all works out for you and your love interest... :) |

You can't tell things about people just by their outer shell of flesh and cartilage and skin and gross stuff. Only mushy, disgusting brain matter is what counts.
