gary numan kicks ass, funny, its hard to imagine he was a punk rock artist while your listening to cars. he will be recording with trent reznor and marilyn manson soon.

yeah i heard about that too. he really wanted to work with trent i believe he said that in an interview.

I don't know about that Trent and Manson collaboration, sounds like a rumor. Gary Numan had a few cool songs I like "Are Friends Electric?", "Cars", "Down In The Park"
Marilyn Manson covered Down in the Park on the Lunchbox single, Trent produced it. It's a great track. NIN covered "Metal" on the Things Falling Apart remix cd, also a good song.
If you want something a little different, check out Terry Thaemlitz album of Gary Numan songs. It's all done on piano.
