This song has got to be the highlight of hard normal daddy! I just love it! Think it's amazing how it starts quite gently, and he already lets you hear a small part of the melody... but then after that there are a few minutes with just rythms where he s l o w l y builds up the tension... right up to the point where you almost can't take it anymore. You think: "play that goddamn melody already!"... and the finally at 3:57 in the song that lovely melody FINALLY kicks in...mmm... and last for about half a minute... the 30 best seconds of the entire album! The part of the song makes me go crazy... And I seriously wonder if I would've liked that melody as much if he had started the song with it... or built an entire song around it... I doubt it. The reason it's so great is that he takes the time to slowly build up to it, and then still only lets you listen to it for a little bit... always leaving you wanting more... it's brilliant! Words can't describe how muh I love this song :-D |
