Wow...just woke up to remember another music dream. Where are they coming from?? This one is about Boards of Canada. I had a friend in my dream that kept going out with this other guy (NOT LIKE THAT!) and I for whatever reason kept asking who this guy's name was. His little brother said Eric. This happened at least three times. While the little brother's brother got in the car with Eric to go out again I suddenly clicked and remembered 'Eric' being one of the guys from Boards of Canada (the closests applicable name is of course Eoin but my dream I guessed picked the closest english name). So I went to the little brother and asked a bunch of questions, one of them being 'Is Eric a musician?' and he said yeah. So i was like 'wow, this guys' brother knows BoC!!!' A bunch of stuff happened next that I don't remember. Nex thing I was talking to Erik and he was all cool. We got in a van and checked into a hotel. On the way there though there was this special station my friend wanted to hear and while I was driving they both were getting angry at me cause it wasn't 'that hard to find'. Finally Erik found it I think. Anyways time went on and Erik had a gig to do...so we all went to it...and he pulled out a ... guitar. Yes, 'Erik' of Boards of Canada stood with 3 other members and stummed hard. It was rock music...not IDM. I guess that wasn't a good dream but oh well. |
