"From what I've heard the next release will bring together
all the digital techniques learned
producing "Geometry" with some old-skool ragga rave'n'bass
action. Can't wait."

Whoa, sounds cool!! Can't wait for new Jega!!

Did you read that mu thread where JEGA was hating on SQPR &
WARP...

I thought that was a bit out of order to air publically like
that, even if it did make great reading....sounds as if
there might be more to it than Dylan lets on...

Anyway, apart from all the bitching, he did mention his next
release..(called "Variance" I think...)...and he kinda
suggests it might be a multi-media affair i.e. more than
just music...

I'm sure Mike P's '93 remix of 'love will tear us apart'
shits on the pushers (why don't you all suck his dick)
Red Hot Car whatever was so shit, i'd rather listen to so
solid crew than that arse, he's just paying for all that
pseudo jazz crap he tried to do.
Warp are shit, stop wanking off to them, it's a bad habit.

"Still banging away on his tired jungle drum cause his jazz

i want to hear that remix version but it's not on soulseek,
is the remix attributed to a name other than mu-ziq?

Yeah I read that whole 215 post last night. Jega does make
a good point and I do tend to agree with him. My only
stipulation is he could of been much more seldom rather than
swearing up a storm.

though he was right about the warp issue, jega was being a
fucking idiot when it came to dissing on these artists. tom
has more talent in his nose hair than dylan jega will ever
have.

tits:...I don't think it was ever released...just some Mike
P was fucking around with...

and yeah, that thread is bloody long; but it does make
interesting reading...Personally I thought JEGA was out of
order and could've explained himself far better..He had
things to say & some fair points but it got to the stage of
name-calling in the end which was kinda unfortunate...

how old is he? pretty young isn't he? prolly explains it. i
know cex is my age and he sometimes does the namecalling
thing. planet mu artists mostly seem like a young bunch to
me (not that i'm saying cex is on planet mu).

I don't know if I agree with the Tom having more talent than
Dylan arguement, but as you've all stated and as I have, he
was defintwly out of line.

Maybe he was piss drunk, or just woke up hung over or on the
wrong side of the bed, who knows.

I thought Jega was around 30ish, but not 100% sure...think
he went to Kingston Poly the same time as AFX & Mike P so
will probably be of similar age...

I don't know why he got all defensive about money...he's
mentioned it himeself in interviews that he's independently
wealthy so doesn't have to get a job or rely on music to get
by...regardless of what he says, that's bound to make it a
whole lot easier to act all high & mighty about Warp...

I agree with a lot of what he say's about Warp. Have they
had a truly great new artist since BOC? Brothomostates,
Richard Devine, Chris Clark and the like all sound like
slightly watered down versions of AE and Aphex. Don't even
get me started on Gallo, Plone (Air? anyone). If they
should lose Boards or AE like they have Aphex, watch out. I
don't think Plaid could keep them afloat. I do like
Anti-pop though.

I'm not sure I agree with what Jega said in the thread -- I
found him to be a little hopelessly idealistic. He was
basically shitting on Warp for running a successful record
company.

I did enjoy his rant about Squarepusher though. I used to
like what he was doing (Go Plastic) but this latest release
is unlistenable. I don't understand Squarepusher fanatics
he's never been the shit IMHO.

Aaron tells me he might be touring with Jega and Otto (not
sure how to spell it) sometime this year, should be good!

Jega is cool and shit but he was just sounding like bitch
with some statements.
