this is one track i never see ANYONE mention. now, i will
agree that it is definitely not an extraordinary track
compared to alot of afx's stuff. but i think it is an
extremely sad track... especially with the sound clip of his
folks singing happy birthday to him right before. very
emotional...

Man, Lornaderek freaks me out! I don't know why.

Penty Harmonium is ok, but it just doesn't feel real deep,
or something.

I think maybe Lornaderek reminds me of the track on Smells
Like Children by Marilyn Manson where it's a recorded phone
conversation between a woman and her mother and the mother
hasn't been taking her heart medication, and I was so scared
because I thought the mother was going to die on the phone!
But she didn't.. but I was still scared!!

oh that track knocks me on my knees.
I bawl almost every time I hear it. you're right the
birthday thing helps - the thing was, the first time I heard
it, I was away at school, and I didn't really have any
friends. it happened to be my birthday, and my parents had
sent me a card and some money and ordered a birthday cake,
and I was just sitting there alone listening to this song. I
was on the verge of crying when I heard Lornadek, and as
soon as the first few notes came out of Penty Harmonium, I
simply couldn't hold back at all. I was reduced to tears for
about 30 minutes. I think it has a beautiful, even uplifting
ending, though, especially with Meltphace 6 coming after it.
I feel like Rich did me a big favour by putting the tracks
in that order. Thanks, Rich :)
