Robert Miles And Aphex Twin

James King on 2001-07-29 06:12 [#00018434]

Is this track, I found on napster awhile ago, real? It's
called "untitled duet" Robert Miles and Aphex Twin; and
under album, it says "Unreleased (Taken From Master tape)"
It's kinda shit too, it reminds me of water in caves though.
I'm guessing it's not real, but do you know what it is?

djfony -mike b- from helemano, hawaii -djfony.8m.com- on 2001-07-29 11:11 [#00018455]

its a track by Torley Wong "A techno kid" hes on mp3.com hes
pretty good too. He used to be a frequent visitor of this
board also... I think what happened is he described the song
as a mix between Aphex Twin and Robert Miles and someone
twisted it a little and it spread like (insert something
that spreads easily) on a (insert the receiver of the item
being spread here)

Xristophan is a great song...if he ever makes enough songs
like that to make an album he should send his tape in to
WARP, he probably has already...

Torley: Have you?

Whale Soup is done by Uziq off of Tango N' Vectif.

i realize this is an old thread but..
i am convinced that is NOT a real duet.
that track is on the robert miles album which by the way is
SHITE. techno piano in a can

Captain Beefheart on 2001-08-27 23:19 [#00026359]

Perhaps if you read the "Thread" you would see that it says
"It's not by them, it's not a duet," fuckin' retard.

djfony -mike b- from helemano, hawaii -djfony.8m.com- on 2001-08-27 23:46 [#00026369]

lmao!!!!!!!! well put beef :D

evolume from seattle, washington, usa on 2001-08-28 15:23 [#00026632]

no need to get militant. apparantly there are more than one
"duet" track. the one i was talking about is acutally just a
track off the robert miles album but i have seen it on share
networks labeled as a duet.

evolume from seattle, washington, usa on 2001-08-28 19:53 [#00026683]

also,
who are you quoting when you wrote:
"its not by them, it's not a duet"
i have searched the entire "thread" (not sure why you put
that in quotes) and this text is not anywhere in the
posting.
if you're gonna flame me you should at least use accurate
quotes.

djfony -mike b- from helemano, hawaii -djfony.8m.com- on 2001-08-28 20:00 [#00026684]

I dont see basis for argument here. I had stated already
that it was a fake. You brought the thread back up to the
top without reading the whole thing.. actually without even
reading the first reply, and someone took a shot at you
because you left yourself open like that. Now you're
somewhat bothered because he brought that to light and even
though Beef didnt quote exactly what anyone had said, he got
the message across.

now go home, its past your bedtime :D

I have a feeling that Evolume is Torley Wong, he wants us to
"discuss" his track.

roflmao

evolume from seattle, washington, usa on 2001-08-29 19:31 [#00027531]

i think the track is real and definately not by a torley
wong. in fact i read in a... uh... magazine that it was
actually a 3 way duet with robert miles, rdj, and BT. a
menage'a'trois of rdj and two bitches.

David Berkowitz on 2001-11-03 14:27 [#00048266]

Torley sometimes sign the guestbook at torley.com alot, he
posts things like "you are awesome" from sarah, post after
post.

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-11-03 19:23 [#00048306]

The track is most definately by TW, and its really damn good
considering...

Who gives a shit if he signs his own guestbook? I wish I
could make beats like that...

aphex. shame on you for saying otherwise!

lol, this isn't real.

RDJ and RM hooking up to do a track. I highly HIGHLY doubt
afx would have anything to do with the creator of one of the
cheesiest electronic genres 'dream trance.'

shame on you! you don't know ANYTHING about music or aphex
twin, poser!

i'm kidding. my last post was also a joke.
i've heard the song, it's ok but not AFX.
plus, every faq i've ever read says it's actually a track by
Torley Wong.
