after watching A Beautiful Mind though, I wonder, was Denzell Washington given the Oscar just because he's black? I know that's racist, but was he really better then Russell Crowe? I thought Crowe's perfomance was awesome, and I haven't seen Denzel's performance, it just seems like it's him getting angry, and being a badass cop ya know, and not much more then that... but again, I haven't seen the movie so I shouldn't speak I guess... any thoughts on this? |

i have training day on divx actually but i haven't seen it yet i like hawke pretty much don't like denzel to much tho but if u say hes good in this one i guess i must watch it some time soon |

Jennifer Connelly is hot too!!! It was a treat just looking at her!!! :) I must admit, when I watched Requiem for a Dream, the last sequence part where her and this other misses are doing their funny business for the men, I was arroused, even though it was a shameful and degrading situation... but damn, she is hot!! :) |

i saw training day... i realy didnt like it.. it was too over the top... denzel did do a good job with what he was giving though.... but i seriously think that denzel got the oscar because they wanted it to be like, the year for blacks. russel crowe did much better imo and im not saying its right... im just saying how it is |

Crowes only done a few movies; just cause he's a pretty white guy doesn't mean he deserves an award; those'll come in time when he's proved himsef more...you gotta admit Denzils done tons & tons of really cool roles over a long long period of time... so I really doubt he got it just because of his race... He's a fucking good actor and it was well deserved... And I must got see ABM...read the book ages ago but haven't seen the film yet... |

yeah, I just remember a lot of talk about the fact that he and Will Smith were nominated... two black guys... just a thought really, cause I really thought Russell Crowe did an excellent job in ABM... |

yeah and that other guy Sidney Port?! however you spell it?! got the lifetime achievment award. It was a all black affair that oscars for sure....not that theres anything wrong with that. :-P |

sidney poitier is an amazing actor. and so is denzel. r. crowe is damn good,,, but washington and poitier are classic. |
