satisfie me for long! yeah its great but it feels like its
just a little teaser on whats to come!

and dont get me wrong...I LOVE this release, but I mean all
the track on disc 2 is already released material :(

I want a full length double DISC with Squarepushers mad ass
material cuz he is the fucking daddy.

tho this release is fucking great and well worth just for
the title track, if u havent got it on vinyl already ;)

like 3-4 proper new unheard tracks out of 17 :(

He should have released like at least 10-15 new tracks on cd
1 and 15 more on CD 2 HAHAAHAHA feel me!?

But maybe this is a teaser before his real full length, or
maybe this is to get out from the warp contract?

But they cant sell this for a double cd price?

you greedy bugger...:)...

nah, I see what you mean; it does kinda feel like an odd
release, not many people release a double CD - 1 live the
other studio... but you gotta admit it's a good overall view
of the SQPR sound like a introduction to SQPR, even the name
kinda suggests it...

Saying that, it's a bloody good mix of all his various
styles...something on there for everyone; I've def got my
sountrack to the summer...

so even if it's a contract-ender or something, at least Tom
hasn't let us down by releasing sub-standard stuff...

Whats the actual release date, anyone?..September?...

new ep is probably the Untitled single track release from a
while ago...

Search for "Know Squarepusher" on SS and you should find
it...

I would say that it's a stop gap release, or maybe a
contract ender, or perhaps just a collection of recent
stuff... although then he probably would have put my red hot
car on there too..

Think about it, he's obviously got more than 7 new tracks on
his machine... so maybe he doesn't want this to be
recognised as his next album...

I dunno, I'm seeing pixies dancing on the top of my monitor
at the moment so you should probably ignore me...

contract ender --he would have prob realeased stuff alot
earlier if he would have understood afx losing his mp3
player with 150+ squarepusher unrealesed tracks---you guys
spoil it for your self downloading it!!

^ that MP3 player lark was probably bullshit anyway....

And why would he have released stuff earlier anyway?..I
don't understand your thinking...

"But they cant sell this for a double cd price?

"
...? what's the price of the release? ' _ -

double cd live/studio > NIN already did this with the deluxe
version of 'and all that could have been'... kinda... :)

I like "Love Will Tear Us Apart Again"

Squarepusher makes a very good cover :)

Its pretty funny that the vocals are so low, I like his
cover better than the original.

Yeah I wanna know the price ?

I think they will sell it as a single cd.

offline Archrival on 2002-07-14 14:22 [#00308802]

But the length is 32 min of cd one and cd 2 is even
longer.... :( this means they will probably sell it as a
double cd, because the industry goes after the length of the
CD. I mean u can sell a full length wich is only 10 min
long.

I think Tom is pulling a stunt to get out of the Warp
contract, its pretty obvious that this is the last Square
release on Warp.

Mocking them with a Joy Div cover just like Rich did with
Nannou2 as the final cut ;O)

After 5 straight through listen....here my conclusion:

I definitly think this release will be a dope worth release
if its just priced like an EP. I think the live CD 2 should
just be a BONUS.

I mean those live tracks "aint all that" if u already got Go
Plastic (his best release imo), its exactly like the Frigid
live show
it just go plastic tracks changed slightly with people
screaming on top of it.

it aint even good sound quality! even the frigid show got
better sound!

I agree, I wont buy it if it cost more than a EP. im sorry
:( I like it, but I already got the title track on vinyl
and its NO DOUBT the best track on this release.
