So, the new Squarepusher Album is available @ Soulseek already. I downloaded DISC1 and it was a big Dissapointment, cuz there were only 2 "Drum N Baseish" track on there, and one of em' was WAP155 ! Theres also a coverversion of some song by a band I dont know, but this also nothing to write home about. I hope I downloaded a fake, if not I have to say that the new Squarepusher sucks... |

too right we'll buy it!!... so weird hearing "Love will Tear us apart"...such a big song when I was young; Joy Division were THE band to be into...and SQPR has got it so so close, it sounds like some strange homage to Ian C rather than just a straightforward cover...SQPRs version is a little faster but soundwise it's extremely similar to the original (almost sample-like close..)... (Check Atmosphere is you wanna hear another Joy Divison classic...)... I love what I've heard so far...Tom J is so in control of his sound nowadays, it's unreal... Just can't function no more... |

its a from a short intro to "untitled" (wap 155) that was not included in the version released before the rest of the song seems to be the same..... at least on first listen..... btw, im d/ling it now...... i have the first disc..... all the second discs im finding are actually just live squarepusher show recordings! so far..... (ive only heard teh first 2 tracks....... and one ofthem is "untitled") ......i like it! |
