I'm sure I replied to this thread 1/2 hour ago but guess I might have pressed wrong button...:(.. anyways...yeah, princo...that bit 1 minute is great...I'd just seen AOTC when I first saw it and it so reminded me of that great Sonic Weapon space explosion in that.... as for awards...fuck, yeah!! Can't see this going unnoticed... corn: yeah, I like it....might seem a bit strange on the first few listens but once you get your head around it a bit, it's great... And you gotta get Confield, man...it's a milestone AE release to these ears... |

GG is clearly the most impressive video i've seen in a looong time! its so heavily detailed. played a bit of Gantz Graf to my teacher (audio engineering) in the studio... boy did it sound great!! |

princo... your studies audio engeenering? any music along with that? i go to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and im doing a duel major in Composition and Synthesis. i just finished my first year, which was all core classes... this fall ill be starting in several synth classes :) !!!!! |

Indeed! that sounds like a whole lot of fun! at this point in time I'm doing a introductionary to sound engineering course and i'll move onto the advance course for sure. The studio used to be an old police lock up. hehehe! Hope to do some Media Art (involving sound) and Music business management next year. |

Well, SBS don't really care about ratings so it would not have been axed because of poor ratings. The word on the Alchemy site was that the host's were tired!! But even if they were why couldn't they just show clips? I was so upset about it going, I've got into heaps of different artist's because of them. It's just not fair!! They tease us with these excellent programs and then go about taking the things off air. |

I talked to Nicole Fossati about why they stopped Alchemy, and she said that SBS were being bitches and were forcing them to do really wanky artists, so they got bored and ratings dropped. I loved Alchemy, they did the whole Aphex hour thing. Wicked. |

I think I've still got a few episodes of Alchemy on tape somewhere.... i think the episode where Robbie Buck interviews Tom Middleton, and he mentions of his first meeting with Richard James! once again... top show that! |

yeah...but they are big files... The VOBs like 300MB & the AVI is 222... If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he's also got a 80Meg MPG which is a bit easier to dl... but to be honest, it's best to wait for the DVD...the picture quality/size/speed is so much better... |
