I noticed that you can send in demos to Planet µ...does
Warp or Rephlex have a thing like that?

rephlex does... just go to their website, and read through a
bit of the lingo, you'll find where it talks about demos.

as far as warp goes: i've heard talk of folks from this here
MB sending demos off to them. but i have searched for a
long time at the warprecords site, and found nothing about
where to send demos to....

How else would they find artists?... Then again if I owned a
label, I'd find artists myself, I wouldn't want a bunch of
wannabe morons sending me their pointless crap I'd have to
weed through. I'm sure they make it inconvenient to find any
address or anything, I havn't tried before though.

And you'd find artists yourself by weeding through all the
crap at mp3.com? Just curious.

It's probably quicker to click and hear a track (especially
if a non-downloading lower quality quick link) than to open
mail, open case, pop in cd, reject, retry. Anyone into this
type of music will likely have their music available
somewhere online I guess since it's construction involves
computers. Flea if you're too humble, then do it bezuk I
said so :)

Music needs to take a new form.

Music that can be sniffed.

Music that can be injected.

Do you think you would have to live in England to be signed
to Warp, Planet µ, Rephlex, etc.?
