a little like boc, a little like plaid, but it's pretty
unique too.. much more fluid and polished, very organic
sounding w/o drifting from the idm sound.

far-east-monkey, do you have the japanese version of the
album? if so, can you PLEASE tell me (and us) the name of
the final track? japanese version has an exclusive bonus
track.

Yes, these two guys are good. They did music for some Teen
Flick in the States, New Port South.

Their label is www.heftyrecords.com

you mean ' telefon tel avi'??
last week i went to cd store to buy their
album.
in the end i couldn't find it. it's very shame.

Have they already released japanese version of album?
if they do that , i am sure to buy it.

Go to that site for their album. 'New Port South' is a film
they did music for.

New Port South never came out in the USA, did it come out in
japan? i swear i've never found any info saying the movie or
soundtrack were ever released, as far as i know they won't
be.

yes the japanese version has been out for a few months

bought their album after hearing mp3s... excellent potential
for something I'd really like, probably too much live
instrument soundy stuff for my taste in this album, one
track was very wickedly pleasing to my now deflated parietal
lobes that I keep in 2 seperate jars. Some parts go on too
long without enough special effects and stuff.

why not buy it online, I got it at www.forcedexposure.com

It's called fahrenheit fair enough, although in the title
fahrenheit is actually spelled correctly...

order it from www.heftyrecords.com (USA) which will be very
cheap but you have to pay for international shipping (i
don't know how much that is), or get it from www.hmv.co.jp

i bought the album a while ago. i kept hearing people
raving about it, but i didnt bother checking it out. but
when i did, i regreted waiting this long!

i dont think it sounds like boc at all. definitely not as
'hippy' sounding and a lot more detailed imo. their stuff
is really melodic, which is nice.

fave track: john thomas on the inside... (track 4).

I thought New Port South did. I remember reading a review
of it, plus you can order the movie off various sites.

I should buy the damn album, from what I've heard by them I
really like Fahrenheit Fair Enough and Lotus Above Water.

...and i would buy it online...if i could use my credit
card...but i cant...

...just because i knew someone was bound to say "why not
just buy it online?"

why not just buy it online? :) seriously, why can't you use
your CC? hefty are very trustworthy, i let 'em charge the
ten bucks for the album to my card and have had no problem
with it. i'm sure you could send them a money order or check
as well. don't cheat up and coming idm artists, that's just
wrong.

corngrower: charlie cooper and joshua eustis are pretty
young, early 20s. not sure when they officially became a
group but the album was began in 2000 and finished (and
released) in late summer of 2001. since 2000 eustis has been
collaborating with danny lohner of nine inch nails on
remixes.

its not that i dont trust the record company...its just that
i currently have a $200something balance.. and i think my
card has been suspended for the moment

oh, that sucks. i have a debit card, it's awesome. i advise
everyone to get one, it's not that hard. but anyway, try the
money order or check route, hefty are very understanding
(they personally respond to each email sent to them, no
automation).
