this may sound lame, but, are their any rules as to what you can do in your remix for the custom remix section of this site? like, are you free to add your own melodies (within reason) and so fourth? |

You can do anything you want, but really, you should try not to have it sound the same, have some melodies and other things, resemble the song.. but dont take the song and add some things to it, thats stupid, and no good for this site. Be creative. >:D |

Use the melodies from the track only. That is, if you want to stay 100% legal. Sure, use the samples in the original song as well...I won't tell 'them'. :-) Usually you have to ask for permission before remixing commercial tracks. That's what Warp is telling me. |
