but this is the best documentary channel on YouTube, his Aphex Twin video i enjoyed a bunch, too, for instance this gives a fair shake down. meaning you can also conclude they're a bit of(artsy) wankers. i think they're pleasurable wankers, though |

i watched it as an american and thought "surely their notoriety can be attributed to geography" i.e. if britain wasn't such a tiny island, their actions wouldn't have gotten much exposure in the industry because the media wouldn't have had their eye on them. and so therefore, their relevance had to be played up a bit because i don't see anything that out of the ordinary or edgy for their behavior as musicians. |
