my grandmother is in hospital, she's 88 years old, got a
chest infection and had water drained from her lungs, she
had a minor heart attack at some point, just hoping she
comes home for christmas. my dad went to visit her last
night and i spoke with her over whatsapp video chat, she
said shes coming home soon, but my dad said later shes not
coming soon shes going to be stuck in hospital for a while.

yesterday i went to the psychiatrist with my dad, she said a
blood test or scan or something was bad and i have a problem
with my heart.

my mother also has a problem, an enlarged heart, i went to
see her yesterday, she seemed in good spirits though,
complained about her job a lot. looking forward to
christmas.

the other night i had a dream and God was talking to me in
the dream, literally talking, a different voice to usual,
and i asked who he was and he said "I am God", then i felt
an implement pressed into my chest, i could really feel it,
thought it didnt hurt, i made some excuses and God said
"You're trying to influence me."

what are your problems?

I’m sorry to hear about your problems, mate. Hold on and
hang in there! I know you know a lot and will not be shaken
by your beliefs, but I believe God loves you, and forgave
you long before you did anything you deem wrong.

Much RD warmth and love sent your way! Word is bond!

umbroman3, u need to become cardiobroman3. that this is not
about the gym -- fuck that. instead, very determinedly take
walks, rain or shine, three times daily, with each walk
simply being about how much you can stand. if you keep this
up for a year, along with whatever the doctors say about
diet... well, body recovers, you can reverse course. if you
are already doing all of this, forgive me. feel better in
any case

i am trying to find a new job, and it doesn't feel hopeless
or whatnot, it is just so. confusing, especially
right now. where no one is where if the economy will take a
shit, fart, haul ass, what. working in [tech], now flooded
with workers that mark zuckerbird cast aside... but no,
mostly, juggling like six ongoing "maybe"s combined with a
bunch of appointments and such. pure adhd nightmare
overwhelming my usual mechanisms; i should call this guy (i
did), maybe i should kind of cold call this guy (i didn't),
maybe i should write an article on medium.com, i should go
do yoga, my bum itches

but on the upside: i've just suffered through a covid
booster, then a doctor's appointment that ended in a flu
shot, then down to the lower floors where they extract vital
juices from my arm, and, well, not bad: i'm not obviously
dying, i don't have HIV, i haven't nuked my liver, that my
numbers even garner adjectives like "good"

and obviously i've been driving them nuts with technical
questions now that they've emailed me, like, a 7-page
spreadsheet of numbers
