the temperature is plummeting, i suddenly notice. guess i need to upgrade my garment game. a bit later, that's not enough. i need more layers later still, i'm wearing an undershirt, a hoodie, a sleeveless polar fleece vest, a second hoodie, a hat, fuzzy slippers, just made a cup of tea, and my arms are still a bit cold looking at the weather, it warms up a bit for a few days... but, next sunday will be even colder. |

anyways, when you're wearing two hoodies and a polar fleece, trust me, your neck is pretty good. there's some logistics involved in ordering all the hoodies and collars that's functionally equivalent |

living in the city, so, all the concrete and emmissions keep it warm and cosy. hardly ever freezes and barely ever snows inmidst here although it should in this area. but over the weekend we had a pretty good smog. havent had that in a whiiiiile. felt like utter shit. luckily it cleared up eysterday and the stars came out. i was able to spot orion, auriga, taurus and even found the twins! lucky!! |

scarfs are dope btw also wollens beat sweaters in thermal (& many other) matters i wear both and a vest out of loden cloth and feel snug as a bug yet not restraint in movement at 4° |

actually did not wind up being nearly as cold as they forecast this sunday, but still quite cold when i got up, much layering thursday looks colder than today was forecast to be next sunday looks colder than anything mentioned thus far what would your washing policy be for owning seven or eight hoodies; wearing 2-3 at a time? i have quite a few thots about this |

trust your nose btw the amount of plastic in your fabrics directly affects the smelliness. functional sports clothes are best washed immedeately (or incinerated), most sweaters dont seem to need special attention for the smell is removed quickly after washing, consisting mainly of cotton or viscose. however wollens barely ever need to be washed at all. i usually wear them for weeks, just letting them air some times and only wash them when they caught dust or similar dirt. |

trust your nose i do, but, to be totally honest, probably my least-developed sense. but, being myself, i am familiar with the range of ways i can smell. as the years go by it's actually getting more specific: like, if i wake up in the morning, and it stinks like cheeseburger hotpockets, that means i am dehydrated, and/or i sweated a lot last nite because too many blankets; obviously these two things are interrelated. however, i haven't had a cheeseburger hotpocket in years. perhaps they're like that urban legend about lsd, that it stays in your spine for years and if you flex too hard one day the bubbles will pop and you'll be tripping again out of nowhere anyways, yeah, i do trust my nose, and these things need regular washing, man. people will feel my hand in winter and so "oh your hand is so warm" and i am all "aaaugh stahp you're freezing" so i suspect i am not entirely thermonormal, run a bit hot. so i'll be freezing and freezing and then i put on more and more sweatshirt and then eventually i'm sweating in all my shirts, and it's the same trying to sleep, freezing or sweating, but if i'm not dehydrated it more smells stale than cheesy i've begun showering afternoons/evenings; if i throw myself into work when i'm just out of bed it takes deep root in my brain. if i shower and cook breakfast and surf the web i'm distracted by that clanging around. can't believe how much i beat myself up for rolling out of bed and logging into work for so long; it's actually the best way to get work to take over my brane but, yes, the hoodies. i sweat. i do weird stretches and roll around on the floor. so typically, i will wake up, put on my pajama pants from yesterday, the outer hoodie from yesterday as inner hoodie, the fleece vest as a middle layer, then a fresh hoodie as the outer later. and a hat. and fuzzy slippers with proper rubber grips |
