Which would u get? The prologue is 300 quid cheaper. I
can't hear them in person unfortunately so have to go by
fucking YouTube Vida in which the korg sounds nicer but I
think that might be a case of the prophet demos being
fucking wank.

get yourself a rack marion msr2 or marion prosynth
it has 8 voices, 8 part multitimbral, and can do microtuning
via scala.
it's really easy to program and has more flexible
architecture than the two synths you mention.
there aren't many demos around. i used it for the pads on my
merchant navy album.
it was designed by tom oberheim.

a few months ago i paid £1000 exactly for mine including
postage, try to knock them down a bit on ebay!

there's an akai vx 90 rack 1vco per 6 voice synth on ebay
for £500 atm
looks good to me, have a look. lush synth for the price.

avoid the akai vx 600, it sounds nice but the pcb is
brittle, mine snapped in half during postage and had to be
repaired.not many repairmen will touch it lol.

another one to check out is the kawai sx 240, they are 8
voice, 2 part multitimbral, with dual dco per voice and ssm
filter. they used to cost £200 but now they are £1200.

Thanks for the recommends, I want something with decent size
keys and easy parameter access attached as I don't have any
at the mo and just want to sit and play but if I can get one
of these for a bit cheaper I can add a simple Modi keyboard
in to the cost
