i just watched "the departed" for the first time, last night. i haven't followed scorsese too closely and i hadn't realized he'd made an 00's mafia film. felt all a bit synchronicity -- i heard about the movie, i made a note to watch it. later that day, find this article. i have a glass of cranberry juice. usually, i mix it with booze, on the occasion i do drink it, but i simply wanted a glass of cranberry juice. "gosh, this stuff is good without booze," i think. this is as i'm torrenting the movie... and a solid laugh when cranberry juice -- no booze -- becomes a plot point. |
