When VR headsets get super high resolution screens and
become cheap consumer products I hope they'll be used for
taking virtual tours. That stuff does exist at the moment
but the technology isn't there yet. 3D scan the entirety of
Florence down to mm precision and let me stroll around it.

Go sub mm precision and let me feel course stone on my
finger tips through my haptic gloves.

Add physics simulations so I can frolic in a fountain and
feel the wetness on my haptic body stocking.

Let me fly across a sunny american city and through some
ladies window while she waves at me in real time thanks to
having high quality 3D scanners floating in the air every 5
metres everywhere at all times.

I like the fact they can use the planet as a massive
telescope now but connecting them. (And some awesome
motherfucking programming)

yes incredibly impressive, they did that to get the black
hole picture didn't they, brilliant stuff, something to do
with angular resolution my bro seems to understand all that
stuff

It’s often mentioned being a “cyberpunk” movie from
1995. That made me think of you and your pals running theme!
