My town has a McDonald’s and a Subway. The latter is
failing miserably. I very rarely eat meat so I don’t
really go to either. The Subway here is terrible. Back when
I ate meat more often I’d enjoy getting a whopper at the
airport. Used to make a change from McDonald’s.

So yeah, sorry, I don’t know shit.

I went to Mc Donald’s after opening the thread. But it was
really disappointing. The only place where every meal I ate
was okay was Taipeh, Taiwan.

Yeah it pretty grim, kinda predigested food.

I’ll go about once or twice a year and have a Big Mac.
Every time I’ll tegret it though. I did enjoy when they
had this posh burger for a while, that was quality, the
meat, the sauce, the onions and roquette salad. It was
pretty good for a fast food chain, done by a local chef. I
used to enjoy the mc deluxe but it’s not around anymore.

Fun fact, I often walk by mc Donald’s and my dog gets
really upset that we don’t go in. I’ve tried to explain
to him the whole money thing but he doesn’t get it. He
seems genuinely puzzled that we don’t go in and get some
burgers and nuggets! He thinks I’m a fool.

I also enjoyed the mc deluxe, which is not the same as the
posh burger I forget the name of.*

Seems this place in general prefers philosophy to fast food.
(I’m sure that’s not true)

Gosh forget Pizza Hut. None near me for a 50 mile radius. I
remember loving their pizzas as a kid.

nicer but i think it's mostly full of people congratulating
themselves for not eating at pizza hut. my aunty marg used
to take me and my mum out to The Hut for my birthday when i
was little, pizza and a film at uci. good memories

There's a chain I think is only in Montreal called Amir,
terrific Lebanese food. I like the shish taouk and garlicky
potato wedges.

McDonalds has good coffee, surprisingly.

It's pretty weird that you have to eat other living
organisms - plants or animals - in order to survive...
