Thanks for the link and work!

Have you seen Chiisakobe? I think Kurosawa also did a film
vaguely based on the same novel in Dodes Ka Den iirc. I’m
asking because I’ve been reading the recently adapted
manga it’s its just a beautiful piece of work.

umbroman, yeah I found it very charming, reminded me of
those 90s UK films like Brassed Off and The Full Monty, in
that folksy everyday people way:)

RussellDust, I don't believe I have, adding it to my list
thank you!

Have you seen ankoku joshi yet? Even my cousin enjoyed that

I showed him machine girl too but he didn't like it, bad cgi

I've seen "As The Gods Will" recently, new Sono Sion...
Silly but very enjoyable, CGI on the gods is outstanding

umbroman, it sounds interesting, I will check it out

misantroll - the most recent Sono Sion I saw was Tag, As The
Gods Will looks to be a Takeshi Miike film :P

misantroll, I liked it, epic first scene, although I prefer
Why Don't You Play in Hell :)

Hyperflake: mainly private trackers although Amazon Prime
has a selection of Japanese films.

marlowe have you seen minbo- the yakuza film on youtube
it's the same director and actress as in supa no onna

i havent watched it yet, but it looks good. i watched the
opening scene and the actress plays a smart lawyer who makes
fools out of the yakuza.

on wiki it says the director was murdered by yakuza, threw
him off a tall building. :-/
