a tale of an international (possibly) crew of crypto nuts
creating a mysterious scavenger hunt type thing, yet to be
fully solved. worth yr time

Interesting. I reckon it’s BOC.

I’d love it if they found someone and it turns out he’s
a bit of a dick with no social skills or awareness
(Intelligence is a broad term)! Mind you maybe they don’t
care because they’re recruiting for a specific position.
At first I thought gouvernement, I’m nearly done watching
but it now seems it could be one of these alt movements.

it's those runes still untranslated that gets me, really
wonder what they are. the cypherpunk thing makes sense imo

What I found interesting with the book is that they were
possibly influenced by Jung’s Red Book (Liber Novus).

that was something the video didn't mention, the choice of
literature... ralph waldo emerson... other stuff like that.
there are so many books to choose from and there's an
obvious theme to their choices, and that theme fits the
cypherpunk kru fing.

it's not him but he's the sort i'm picturing

v interesting with the construction of puzzles, i remember
when the second one was going on, didn't really follow it
tho.

like all of these internet mysteries it'll no doubt be a
disappointing conclusion (a FSF privacy first software
development company with big ideas but no financial backing
is my guess) but at least it's not an ARG for some hip movie
or awful vaporwave album or something.

I still find the “search for the most intelligent” idea
a bit far fetched. This is clearly mostly suited to find
people who understand cryptography on a high level, who have
similar ideals, and who can code and write software. The
target they’re looking for is the key really: they want
someone who can write crazy good encryption stuff, and not
the most “intelligent” people out there. A bit cocky
really. I guess they fancy themselves quite a bit.

Still, for, what I understand, I agree with what
“they’re” fighting for.
