buy loads of synths off somewhere like gumtree and private
adds with half of that cash and spend the other half
then sell those synths,

then eventually open a physical synth shop in central London
and sell expensive synths to people with wispy beards. By
the good to have you back!

I don't have a clue to be honest, but I see what the do in
bargain hunt

trick in bargain hunt I reckon is never spend more that a
tenner on one item, chance for bit losses is reduced and
more ceiling for a profit even if profit is marginal

you could also build yourself a 909 on steroids with modules
like these

LAZY_TITLE

offline umbroman3 from United Kingdom on 2018-06-23 18:08 [#02554936]
Points: 6096 Status: Regular

How do you sequence it though? A real 909 has a boss
sequencer

offline DADONCK from here on 2018-06-23 20:00 [#02554968]
Points: 3417 Status: Regular

well, with that money you could get yourself a cirklon,
although you might have to wait a year for one…

dunno, just looked at the prices people want for their 909s
these days. ugh

offline DADONCK from here on 2018-06-23 20:08 [#02554972]

but if you like it, go for it. with that money, i would
build myself a little noise machine with euro rack modules

i spent most of it on synths, too.

It’s not “down the drain” if you invested in stuff.
It’s not like you partied it all!

It’s an investment for Umbrofella considering he makes
tracks.

Once you’ll be “made” you’ll have worries fending
them off! A high mafia ranking, and the ability to make
sweet tracks will make you irresistible!

yeah sounds great, hypnotize by biggie smalls is my theme
song

damn the tr 909 sounds so good to my ears, fucker who sold
it to me didnt change the batteries on it, so it resets to
nonsensical patterns each time i turn it on, took me 1 hour
to get used to programming it, it's not the same as an 808,
the sequencer is more like a 707 but with track looping
option. the sound though, not surprised it's one of the most
popular drum machines of all time, never really appreciated
it enough, wish id had one years ago when they were cheaper.
fucking thing has a dent in the back though and tape on the
front which the guy deliberately didnt mention which means
im not gonna be in a rush to sell it for profit, it's a
keeper. at least the sound is fucking amazing on it. feeling
really passionate now about getting some new acid tracks
out.
