docu's not really saying anything new but "trash" is a bit
harsh, i'm not going to get on my soapbox tho, it's all too
obvious. found out my stepdad voted tory last time, just had
to bite my tongue, fuck's sake

its the dubstep mostly.
but its a similar feeling to chanel 4 programming where you
have this shit mixture of oversentimental pandering but also
its about sneering at scummy people. its like undateables

Not even a minute in and a junkie is complaining that he
doesn’t get enough cash. He should have said “I’m
lucky to live in a country where I can do fuck all and do
drugs, but I’d like more money to do more drugs!”.

I don’t judge people because hey have an addiction. Been
there, I just find it a bit much when a smack head is
moaning about social services and how little he gets. How
can you take this guy seriously.

Oh it gets even better! Depressed now. Thanks, DAD!

As someone who comes from this demographic, white British
working class background I have conflicting feelings about
this, there are genuinely some really great people who get
the shaft, and then there are people who revel in their
ignorance and blame everything but themselves, I went to
school with a bunch of these arseholes they were just feral
human beings, it feels terrible saying that but its the
bloody truth just vicious brain dead idiots

maybe it's living in a homeless hostel a few years ago but i
have a lot of sympathy with the smackheads, they were mostly
on methadone at the place i lived, forever inbetween getting
stable and getting fucked. the football violence i obviously
think is shit but there are still people who can love their
daughter, take her to school and shit, and still vent
nameless impulses through using their fists. it's grim i
know but to just dismiss people as feral plays right into
the right-wingers hands, they'd sooner euthanize a whole
generation than look at the underlying problems

im only talking about a very small percentage of people ive
met mind, but really I believe most people have redeemable
features I really do try to see the best in people, just
these people I mentioned were utterly incapable of critical
thinking, or empathy or anything
