It's alright. The interactions with the aliens and how you
would approach that is interesting.

its quite emotional. there is a big story (aliens) and a
little story (family) and they interfere. saw it with my ex
and she cried. i thought it was well okay, quite good,
pretty much yup

I reckon far more species are aliens. Especially very tiny
ones.

these theories have been clanging around for a while.
terrence mckenna was a proponent of the idea that while life
did evolve on earth independantly, _intelligent_ life came
from the stars. it's not impossible, but it feels a bit
sensationalist and i am hesitant to emotionally commit to
it.

lynn margulis's gaia hypothesis seems more actively relevant
+ interesting.

i suppose you could glue it all together, and view life as a
pattern of increasing complexity that proceeds in more or
less the same way anywhere about the universe as long as it
has room. it's not too absurd that a chunk could float off
and jumpstart in another biogaiadome

I reckon half the shit in the sea is Alien, it’s a proper
horror show down there.

there's a book called "lives of a cell" that compares the
earth to a single-celled organism, the atmosphere is a
membrane etc. but biologists insist that the definition of
life includes reproduction, so is the earth really alive or
are biologists too narrow minded? is the world really just a
very large meme?
