I was on a flight and they had the whole of series 12 so i
watched em all.

It was alright. Lot of call backs to early seasons which was
weird.

seires 11 was good, series 12 had good moments but was
patchy, still neither approach series 1-6

When Rob Grant left it became too heavy-handed and serious,
but I admire that it is still going and is not terrible.

yeah I think bbc policy changed that it didn't really fit
their style perhaps they pressured doug Naylor to make it
more palatable to new sensibilities, like sticking in a
middle class woman, but I have no idea if that's accurate
that's just what I think might have happened
