also my Mothers garden gnome

I am 'not' only saying this because they have beards.

The beards have little to noting to do with it.

These are blatant physical and expression characteristics.

they might attack you as an invading body. there may be
special drones that clear threats with lasers, and allow the
workers to carry on.

rogue one is out now.

I still don't get the ending not matching. unless vader
catches up again and then tractor beam captures the ship
like in the intro of a new hope.

yeah it is a bit of an odd one, perhaps star destroyers have
a much better hyperdrive and travel faster in hyperspace so
can arrive at pretty much the same time as the blockade
runner

The new Rogue One novelisation indicates that the Tantive IV
was in terrible shape even before the Imperials got to it in
the Tatooine system. It suffered some sort of explosive
impact (presumably a blast from the Executor) before it
managed to escape from Scarif.

The Tantive IV wasn’t ready to fly, let alone fight. It
had been the subject of frantic repairs during the
lightspeed voyage from Yavin to Scarif, secure in the hangar
of the Profundity where it had lain, stubbornly malingering,
since its last mission. Even after its host vessel had
arrived in-system and joined the battle against the Imperial
armada, Captain Raymus Antilles and his engineers and droids
had worked desperately to make the corvette spaceworthy—to
seal the leak in its hyperdrive motivator and clean the
buildup in its exhaust ports. Admiral Raddus had made the
situation clear: Every ship in the fleet had a part to
play.

...

The Tantive IV wasn’t ready to fly, but it flew. It
emerged from the burning wreck of the cruiser and sped away
from Scarif. For a blessed few seconds it moved swiftly,
confidently through space. Then the ship rocked again and
echoed with thunder and sparks. From his station on the
bridge, Raymus could smell circuits melting.

“Star Destroyer closing!” called the officer at the
tactical console. Raymus didn’t recognize the face—one
of Raddus’s men.

He erased the fear from his own expression. “Get us into
hyperspace,” he said. “Make sure you secure the air
lock. And prepare the escape pods.”

The Tantive IV might jump out of the system, but it was hurt
and it would be pursued. Best not to take chances.

but at the end of rogue one. is that the blockade runner
Leia is in?
and so the death star will then catch up with it again , and
again capture it? as it does the intro of new hope?

but ? > it light speeded away at the end of rogue one!

1. at the end of rogue one they get the plans. they light
speed away. leaving vader all annoyed. staring into space.

2.(something here is missing)

3.in new hope the star destroyer is chasing and tractor
beams the blockade runner. Then leia puts plans in R2 he
goes to the surface of tatooine.

perhaps when they drop out of hyperspace the star destroyer
catched up much quick on its normal engines,

as you can see it isnt trying to overtake it so it can aim
most of its gun on it.

really its a bit of an oversight by whoever wrote rogue one,
but you can get around it by introducing some sort of plot
device like saying the blockade runner engines were damaged

but its weird that the star destroyed had already captured
blockade runner.

now the star destroyer will have to do the same again ( new
hope)

i think there must be a film in between rogue one and new
hope?, watch ya think? a short movie about 5 mins long
where blockade runners engines fail.
and the star destroyer catches up ...the end....new hope
takes over.
