is protracker the best amiga tracker, anyone got any views

i love some of the sounds you get exclusivity on amiga mod
files, i want to use them within my own music with proper
synths sounds but in a subtle way so it doesnt sound
purposefully retro, but new

think that libxmp has the capabilities, would be pretty cool
to make a massive sample pack (what format though, to
preserve the rootkey &looppoints) of every single mod/etc
off that site,via scraper

Reminds me I have a 3.3 sm card full of melodies and beats
that I can't use unless I buy another Yamaha QY 100 as mine
is fucked. Out of context I know, but I feel sadness inside.

i dont know much about trackers but a few years ago i think

https://wiki.openmpt.org/Manual:_Samples

"Saves an instrument either in the WAV, FLAC or RAW format.
Hold Shift while clicking the button to mass-export all
samples at once"

check if this works with .xm
pretty sure it worked with .it for me

http://nitrotracker.tobw.net/

have a try of nitrotracker on your nintendo ds!
it's a beast of a software with 16 channels of samples
if you use 8 bit .wav it saves on ram, leaving room for
tonnes of samples

...downloaded in the 90's.

I remember back then, when players had reverb and
virtualized 3-d or some super stereo shit, these sounded so
high quality... Haha. If the bat.xm is the jungle one, I
used to love it... If not, well, there is a Batman theme
jungle mod/xm/whatever out there, that I gotta find one
day...
