i accidentally captured a moment where logic changes the dynamic of the rhythm, near the end you can do this with the 303 too, more or less on purpose this time didnt go well, it seems everything out of time, but you can more or less creatively turn this situation on your favor and make shit sound un-replicable with logic X. was the same with logic 9. |

I like, alien/insecty like usual. Here's an idea, like its usually mostly about 4 parts all repeating (like the cymbolish part, the main melody part etc). Well maybe have like 15 parts, but most are usually silent. Instead on each repetition select like 3-5 or so randomly chosen parts of those 15. Or you could give each part a weight so it tends to usually select certain parts, but by chance it sometimes selects other ones. Probably made no sense, plus I'm not the creator you are. |

Does all your subtle detail mostly come from sliding 'effects' down or up, or do you actually have a palette of like 30 similar but slightly different sound units to select from? Both tracks sounded fucking amazing when high by the way (sativa seems to be the non evil species. maybe indica is the one the government put mind control nanobots in). I sure hate how soundcloud auto plays something when you're still trying to think about what you heard. What I'm maybe gonna try for my next 'song' is have a whole bunch of 'parts' meaning maybe a cymbol part, a drum part, another drum part, melody 1 part, melody 2 part, etc. Now I'll sort of treat each part as a drum pattern of its own. Meaning take the cymbol part for example. Turn it on/off in patterns, like every "on" is the whole cymbol pattern being on, as an analogy to a single drum hit being on. In other words make beats from patterns/parts, instead of beats from individual drum hit units. Or something. |

excluded the logic built-in plug ins (compressor, limiter, pitch are the few i use) i had 8 external plug ins the last time i counted them. oh im sticking to the emotion pad of the built in vocoder synth, combined with pitch shift (and idea i had from yours), its the shit. those are my sound palettes w. yes whole patterns as drums hits, sounds right |

Yep, that's good imo, beyond my current ability to sculpt the sound itself like that with programs, so I mostly focus on arrangement instead of sound I guess. I was watching old janet jackson videos... is "she" seriously just michael jackson? Like my guess is MJ was gay and had a ton of money to pay for this big stunt to fake kill off the male persona so he could fully become transgender, and now is still alive as janet? That was some weird crazy psyop if so, and weird lyrics like "control", like they can be interpreted like someone else is controlling "him" rather than him being in control. Then I was watching some paula abdul music videos, maybe the whole time the mainstream pop cheese was more idm than idm. |
