Recommand me some Artist or TRACKS that sound like CONFIELD
? You know heavy thick dark soundscapes (but shouldnt be
cheesy Industrial shit like COIL), Dub Techno in general !

I doubt there is anything like Confield except of course the
new ep as was mentioned. Confield is some pretty ground
breaking stuff.

I do that with most of music. Indulge, get sick of it, let
it pull you back in much later but continue to appreciate
more but less often.

I just recently really got into Confield, went from thinking
''it's ok'' to thinking ''its amazing!'' Now Incunabla and
Amber are really fucking me up, must listen to them again
and again and again...

the only tracks i know that really sounds like confield are
ae's geakwad and 19 headaches on peel session2. but i bet
you knew that. confield is truely unique/innovative.

It's hard to imagine what the new EP is going to be like.
The first track apparently is the whole Confield cd run in 4
min. That would be sweet...or ace...if you all don't me
using that :)

I have it amonbrune I dont think its all of Confield in 4
mins. It sounds like a cross between the japanese bonus
confield track and the 3rd confield track (at least to me)

Confield is inimitable, I don't think there's nothing on
this human earth similiar to it.
Anyway you can try with ep7, naturally by Autechre.

I was in a cd store in philly and heard a cd playing that
reminded me of confield, those amorphic, evolving beats.
Still kicking myself for not asking what it was. Lately ive
been on a search for things similar to confield and the
closest i have come is Oval, phthalocyanine, kit clayton on
occasion.

know what pisses me off?

(alittle off subject)

i saw this duo perform a week ago.

it was well produced, nice sounding stuff... but 2 things
that bothered me.
1. NO melody, or synths or anything. just percussive
sounds.
2. Sounded EXACTLY like autechre.... like... autechre to the
max.

and it was 2 guys. uhhh, kinda obvious who they listen to.

but i mean, it was so unoriginal, it made me not like it,
even though it was well done.

ok. sorry.
