i'm selling clothes, jackets mostly, i'm getting some
hoodies custom made in china with the lobster design that
pulseclock made for me..

ebay do charge you allot for the end fees, it makes it hard
to make a living from it, but it's nice to get some extra
cash

on the hoodie?

on the background pattern and decide which size the lobsters
should be. hopefuly they can give me a example of how it
will look. i will keep you posted

I got somewhat screwed recently by eBay, PayPal, and the
post office as well. AND THE BANK!

What happened is that I sent some speakers I sold on eBay.
But I ended up paying $60 extra out of pocket for priority
shipping, cuz the guy helped me by giving positive feedback
before the item arrived, to have the money released by
PayPal, so I could pay rent in time.

BUUUT then it turns out that the guy was gonna pick up the
speakers 2 weeks later, so the $60 extra was unnecessary.
Ironic shit #1. THEN, the money didn't clear fast enough to
my checking account, so I got charged overdraft fees anyway!
$26x4. Ironic shit #2!

But I didn't know my account was negative, so I walked 2
blocks to the post office holding a massive 40 pound box, to
send a Power Mac G4 that I sold on eBay. My checking card
was denied, but they allowed me to pay by check.

So then I run home 2 blocks, write a check, hurry back, and
it turns out they couldn't use my expired passport as ID for
a check. SO THEN, I had to walk back up hill for 2 blocks
holding a large 40 pound box.

I finally shipped that shit this morning, after of course,
walking 2 blocks with a large 40 pound box.

Anyway, it all sucked shit, but I did at least get 2
overdraft charges removed today, so I'm only -$110 or so.

That whole thing was a bitch, but I'm ok for the moment.
Still gotta put more shit on the 'bay!

and dont forget the energy /work you had to put in to
actually buy your speakers + mac in the first place .

everything you did , all the fees an immense amount of time
effort ...ebay/paypal get paid for doing sod all. they
should pay you ! for making the site more popular and say
thanks for the increased advertising revenue . send you a
lollipop as well.

look at youtube , you have near unlimited bandwidth its
immense and its free!!!

Youtube should do auctions too....video our items working
and sell them via bank transfer lol :P

JivverDicker Thank you. But would a stupid person
set their balls on fire with matches and modeling glue while
posting this? I THINK NOT!!!

freqy Despite me somehow losing money for shipping
and other bullshit, I did make $1,000 in about a week, for a
few hours of taking photos and listing, so it's not all bad.
Like $100 an hour.

its fees on fees now

i sell something for £10 ebay charge me 10 percent final
value.

they do not take it out of that gross amount immediately
they leave it
so that when it goes through paypal they can charge a fee
for the fee to go through their system. paypal want aprox
9 percent.

so insertation fee + neara total 20 percent for final
value, then if it is double cd the post office want aprox
£1 first class ( include your envelope bubble wrap?) if you
were lucky to sell for £4

20% of £4 = 80 + £1 = £1.80 = 45 percent

your not going to sell all your cds maybe only half !! add
that into the equation ( insert fees and photo taking and
electric for your computer bus fair to post office food )
i reckon about 56 - 70 percent gone!

if your cd cost you £8 from new and you sold for just 4
pre taxes

who is able to calculate that !?

if i was ****bay id be fair and charge 1 percent. id still
be a billionaire , put it to good use too, i bet they just
use our money to rave us in other businesses,

thanks allot!
