you should try asking around 8bitcollective.com, people are usually pretty desperate to put anything out. off the top of my head, calmdownkidder kittenrock are a couple netlabels that arent at that 'unobtainable level' like 8bp and II. |

it depends, SNES is sample based so its not really even 16-bit music in a way. genesis / mega drive (or is it master system? i can't keep the names straight outside of the US) is pretty dope, 8 channels of FM synthesis and 4 channels of samples (if i'm not mistaken) |
